acura integra pictures : Acura seems to be pushing the introduction to halt the slow sales of 93Integras. It also seems unlike Acura to release information before thecars arrive. This is only conjecture.Mechanically, the 94 Integra sounds a lot like the 93 Integra - 2 more HPon the base engine, 10 on the GS-R - not something that quickens the pulsein anticipation. The specs on the engines lead one to believe that theyare tweaked versions of the current engines. Oh well. At least they'vegone to 15 inch wheels.Styling - this is going to cause some controversy. The picture I have isof the 3-door GS-R. It's very hard to describe this vehicle. I'm stillnot sure what I think of its looks, maybe it will grow on me (like thesecond-generation MR-2 did, which I initially did not like).Isn't projected beam headlight the ones used in the Infinity J30 ?I may be wrong, what do other think? Some cars that used projection headlights are:Lexus ES300Lexus SC300/400The new Toyota SupraAcura NSXNissan 300ZXSubaru SVXIt's just you. I bought my last Honda because of its high revving ability.I also hit the warning bell three times when I test drove the previousgeneration RX-7 (damn wankels don't give you enough audible warning ;-)).

acura integra pictures : On the other hand, it could leave you feeling a little flat sometimes.I think that the peak numbers are probably not as important as the spread.I think the GS-R has a limited amount of torque, but has it over a verywide range which aids the driveability even when running at less thanfull boil. This is something I have wondered about for a while, my bike is 1100cc andmakes 105hp at the rear wheel (130 or so at the crank) and some of the otherliter bikes make around 150hp at the crank while only displacing 1100cc.These bikes are not fuel injected, and the engines are not tuned to withina hair of breaking down. Why do automotive engines require so much more displacement to get equivalent hp. I realize that part of the hp comes frombeing able to rev to 11,000 rpm. The bikes normally make around 70 ft-lbsof torque as well. Just wondering.....It's probably due to the fact that most motorcycle engines areof the 2-stroke variety and a lot of the reciprocating pistonengines in use in automobiles today are 4-stroke. Justguessing...Motorcycles haven't had 2-stroke engines for a long time now.Perhaps a few dirt bikes do, but no street bikes have 2-strokes.

acura integra pictures : Here are some pictures I took of the new Acura Integra (RS-X), newNissan Z, plus some fixed up Mercedes from the LA auto show. I also put some RX-8 pictures from the Detroit auto show. I got those pictures from ("Peter Gibbons" is from that movie "Office Space", if you work and you haven't seen it, you have to rent it and check it out!)So what do you think of it? Personally, I'm very disappointed with whatAcura's done. I'm currently driving a G3 Integra, and was thinking ofgetting the G4 Integra when it comes out, but looks like that's nothappening anymore. Looks like I'll be getting an S2000, or maybe waitfor the G5 (which hopefully will come out in two, three years 'cos thisone doesn't sell).--Regards,JackIf the human mind were so simple we could understand it, we would be sosimple we couldn't.all i know i'm glad i got my type R instead of the rs-x now that i haveseen the new integra its a no brainer that i made the right decision ongetting the type R even though the new integra has more hp.......

acura integra pictures : I'm looking to upgrade the sound system in my Honda (Acura) Integraliftback. Please forgive any Kiwi lingo and/or newbieness...I've just bought a Sony radio/cassette head unit (model: "XR-C500" here inNew Zealand) and 10 disc changer (model: "CDX-81"). The head has 4x35W(max) internal amplifiers, the "front" two of which are powering whatlooks like factory installed Kenwood 6" coaxials (mid/tweeter pair) in thestandard door/kick-panel location. I've borrowed an old (unpowered) 10"Bazooka sub tube and a Pioneer amp (model: "GM-3000", 4x75W (max) or 2x75W+ 1x150W (max) or 2x150W (max) - the current configuration). The tube isbungee'd to the rear of the trunk (I've heard these tubes work best when"corner loaded").My listening preferences are mainly rock/soul. I'm primarily after soundquality and accuracy, with a requirement of only moderate SPL and verylittle boominess (a very flat freq response, I guess). The Bazooka tube is way too boomy for my tastes - with bass notes in somequieter stuff (eg: Mariah Carey) dominating and thus ruining the track.I'm thinking of tossing the tube and installing 2 10" subs in a sealed, removable enclosure (I occasionally need to transport sound equipment forbands etc), firing upwards at the parcel tray (with appropriately coveredvents etc). I'll replace the 6" coaxials with some quality 6" componentsand a set of tweeters mounted on the door mirror mounts (essentially atneck level on the extremities of the dash).
