The fact that Europeans were also screaming for it led Chrysler to ship over some parts and assemble it there. The fact that they're going to sell some 40,000 this year seems to negate your premise (but then, most of your premises seem to be Eurocentric). You don't get out much when you're here in the USA, do you? If you did, you'd realize we aren't Germany (thank god). We have a pretty LARGE country here, and tend to move things around in it. That requires things like large trucks that can tow boats, travel trailers, and horse trailers.
