But that morning I said: "Well, for some reason myNissan is riding like a, errr, used Lexus,,,so cushy and smoothy!But then when I tried to make a turn to Cub Foods,,,oh, oh, wait aminute,,,,why is it not turning the way I wanted it to turn? Why is mycar wavering and swerving and sliding like one of those TV commercialswhen the driver stepped on the brakes too hard on a wet street?I was lucky not ending up in the ditch that morning on the 16 ofDecember. Got my donuts and when to the middle school. Even though thesnow was practically a foot high, really!, there at the school,,,, wehad close to 50 turn out alltogether, including SPPD Assistant ChiefRichard Gardell.

Again, we had a good, intimate forum discussion,though at times the forum wanted to go into a debate of whether or notthe Hmong culture and Hmong men (and women) were as good or bad asother cultures and/or men, etc., etc.Over all? lexus forum : I'm interested in purchasing a V70XC. I have found two that look to havelow mileage and are within 5K of each other. The 2000 is less cost wise.The 2001 is, obviously a year newer. Is there any reason why one should optfor the 2000 vs. 2001. I know the body style has changed but are theremechanic differences between the two that would entice one to lean towardsthe 2000 or to the 2001?I know nothing about the '01 XC, but I know that there are problems galore(mostly electrical and fuel system) with the '98 - '00 V70XC. After mythird (and last) experience with Volvo (a '98 V70 XC), I'd never buy anotherVolvo product. Personally, I would run, not walk, as fast as I could *away*from both cars. Buy yourself a good used Acura MDX or Lexus RX300.I can say from personal experience the 98-00 V70XC did have some teathingproblems; electrical - lights, alternator, front suspension - tie rods,bottom ball joints, etc. On the pro-side, the earlier XCs came full loaded(CD, moon roof, dash computer, load bars, safety cage, rear mesh pockets).To my dismay, the 2001 had all of these as options, which added about$5K-$7K to the cost of the XC70.

I am getting nothing from them. I am with you on this. I am ayoung new car buyer and they lost more than one car sale. I startedlooking for something else this week.It depends on what you mean by "...rectify". In order to keep me frominvoking our State's lemon law, they "gave" me an "deluxe extendedwarranty", which pushed the factory warranty out to 6 years and 100,000miles. The difference between the factory warranty and the extendedwarranty is (a) $50 deductible per incident (b) more items excluded and (c)no loaner car coverage. At the time, there really wasn't an alternative carI wanted and I figured (foolishly) that after fixing everything in the caronce, I'd be beyond beta-testing. The factory warranty expired about a yearago. Since then, I've had 8 claims against the extended warranty (each witha $50 deductible and each requiring me to either be without transportationor suck up the cost of a rental/loaner), and 3 other incidents that wouldhave been covered under the factory warranty but are excluded under theextended warranty. If you exclude the routine 5K services (11 of them in55K miles), the car has been at the dealer for once warranty or non-warrantyrepair 44 additional times.
