oldsmobile cutlass : A friend of mine needs help. She sent me the following message abouther 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera SL which is having problems with it'sheater and A/C:<quote>Thank you for taking the time. I know you are busy.It is a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera SL with an FE3 suspension (soundslike a hypo, huh??????) I think the problem could be the thermostat (itis not working) or the heater core (or coil) whatever it is. Also, myair conditioning decided to stop working at the end of this summer. There is a leak (I assume)because I had just had the a/c charged (orwhatever it's called when they add freon, I'm such a girl). So, I don'tknow if these can be related at all. I spoke with my Dad and he statedthat the a/c not working can be related to the defroster not working. Iguess the a/c acts as a dehumidifier when defrosting. It's all verycomplicated, but, I have a feeling it is all related somehow. What doyou think?????*Most people are not used to others just being nice and being a good anddecent person. Does anyone know some useful internet addresses where I could find outmore information for her? Winter is coming soon to New England, and Iwant to help her get her heater working...
