subaru body decals : -- - freelance professional photography, lighthouses - black and white photography - color photography - airsoftCan't contrast against the TB01, but I own a RS4 Rally, and it's tons offun. Any car can be weatherproofed, the only issue you might have is smallpebbles and such taking out the belt-- but I've not had that hapen yet.just to throw in another choice---how about the Associated TC3 w/a RallyConversion kit?Anyone got any good feedback on the conversion yet? It's on my short listalong with the E-Maxx for when I win the lotto... I swear I won't get anymore cars after those two.OK, maybe a Slide gas 1/8 on-road car, and a 1/8 Nitro buggy, and a 4wd Losielectric buggy. Then I will truly have my bases covered. The Associated would probably be the ultimate Rally car- but imagine thecost-- $175 for the kit, then another $100 probably for the conversion kit-at which time you're stuck with the old suspension arms, shafts, etc, doingnothing, so you've just GOT to buy another TC3......

subaru body decals : Does anybody know a link to more info on the Associated stuff? I'm probablygoing to go with the RS4 Rally for now, but I want to know what my optionsare...and you can get a new Racer TC-3 (no need for the Team, you're gonna replacemost of the Team parts with the Rally kit parts anyhoo) for $125,new(honest, I've seen 'em that cheap here and there).add $65 for the Kit from Tower, total of $190, not cheap, but you can alwaysswitch it back to touring for those track days...Thanks for the link. It looks like a pretty good kit, except... that doesn'tlook much like a Subaru Impreza body on that rally kit. Looks like they took theHonda body, painted it blue, and put some Subaru decals on it. :) Which bringsup another question - are any manufacturers' bodies compatible with otherbrands?-- - freelance professional photography, lighthouses - black and white photography - color photography - airsoftOn Mon, 13 Nov 2000 16:28:46 -0500, "J. Just make sure you get the right width (200mm forrally cars like the RS4 Rally and TC3 conversion). HPI makes some verynice 200mm rally bodies.

subaru body decals : I've been searching high and low for altezza lights for my '01 Imprezawith no success. During my search, I've noticed how Honda/Acura ownersare "spoiled" by the plethora of aftermarket mods available for theircars. Is there anybody out there who makes these lights available formy car? Or is my search going to lead me to a dead end road?Umm If he went to the I-Club looking for them and posts as such, he's goingto get torn to pieces. A Majority of the people on the I-Club do not likenor belive the alteza style lights belong on the Impreza. Something about'rice'. Or commonly referred to as all show no go. The I-Club is aperformance based club... but there are people onthe board who like thedress-up aspect for showing the car.Why change the lights when they work fine? Why do you want to look like every other honda out there? The Subaru issupposed to be different than them, not like them. They look like crap.Etc....Where you can find them? Who knows. Others have tried and failed. :) I wishyou luck young grasshopper.

The whole set costs $500 which includes clear corners andside markers. I know it's a hefty price but I'm more than willing tospend it.

subaru body decals : I did go to i-club.com later to see what they had, but unforutantely, Icouldn't get the page to load. I'll try again later and see if theirsis a little different.Btw, the reason I want altezza style lights is to be different from theother Subies out there. One thing I noticed about these cars is thatthey are dressed up almost the same way. From rims (5 spoke) to clearlights to body decals. I'll work the motor up later, I'm just a bit shyof voiding the warranty while the car is still in it's infancy. :)I agree that i-club can really get down on appearance upgrades there arealso members who do this kind of thing. The whole anti-Boy Racer thing iskind of Ironic when you consider the non functional hood scoop andunnecessary rear wing on the RS.Hilarious thread! BTW what is the derivation of the "rice" term? Here this link explains it. It is not a PC term however. I like the term"boy racer" but rice seems out there and unstoppable.I didn't think there was a site that could make me laugh more than , but it seems as though there is one. :) THewhole site makes me think of my best friend, a Honda tuner dork. (He'sstill a cool guy though.) :)
